Katherine Langford is an Australian famed star of the Netflix original drama and mystery TV series 13 Reasons Why, in which she played the lead role of Hannah Baker from 2017 to 2018. This TV series was based on a novel written by Jay Asher and has been published in 2007. She began her acting career from the 2016 drama short film Daughter as Scarlett. She also played the co-lead role as Ruby on the Australian action short film Imperfect Quadrant. In 2017, she starred as Vesna in the comedy movie The Misguided alongside her co-stars Anna Philp and Steven J. Mihaljevich. In 2018, she portrayed the lead role as Leah Burke in the Nick Robinson starred drama movie Love, Simon. In 2020, she landed the lead role of Mara Carlyle opposite Charlie Plummer in the Brian Duffield-directed science-fiction and fantasy movie “Spontaneous”.
