Hera Hilmar is an Icelandic famed star who is best known from the Starz network’s Drama series Da Vinci’s Demons, in which she played the breakthrough role as Vanessa. She rose to fame for played the breakthrough role as Edda in the 2007’s drama film The Quiet Storm and also was nominated for her work in this film. She also got huge fame with her lead role as Anna in the thriller film The Oath, which was released on 9 September 2016 in Iceland. In 2017, she played the lead roles of Lillie and Tanja in the war based movies The Ottoman Lieutenant and An Ordinary Man, respectively. She also landed the lead role of Hester Shaw in the science-fiction and fantasy-based film Mortal Engines and as well as played the main role of Sophie in the 2018’s thriller film The Ashram.
